Buying from Nelly Dean's was a breeze.  The prices for well-known, popular books can't be beat (even by Amazon)! The order arrived quickly and the friendly note was appreciated as well as the personal correspondence regarding the shipping of the book. I would definitely order again!

Initially, I was a little skepical about using Nelly Dean because there are lots of book sites out there.  However, I do like to support the locally owned startups instead of always relying on the big boys like Amazon, so I gave it a shot.  I have to say I was suitably impressed.  I was pleased to find that Nelly Dean's Used Books offered many of my old favorites.  Indeed, it was almost like looking at my own bookshelf!  In addition to the titles that I had read were a wide variety that I hadn't but were of a similar interest to me.  I had several email exchanges with the propriator, Lauren, and found her to have a wide breath of knowledge of several genres of literature.  She was very helpful in recommending titles and even tracked down some that I was interested in but that she did not have in stock.  Based on my experiences, I wouldn't hesitate to use Nelly Dean again.  It has that personal touch and knoweldge that you just can't get at an Amazon or a Borders and, to me, that makes all the difference.
